Will rain ruin the trip?
Rain is the experience, not the obstacle. The activities — bioluminescence, waterfall treks, sanctuary trails — are designed for monsoon conditions, and the cottages are fully comfortable. We hand out rain gear for treks. The forest is at its most alive in this season.
What about leeches and insects?
Leeches are a natural part of the Western Ghats in the monsoon and are harmless. Our naturalists choose and pace the trails to keep encounters rare, and will help you if one finds you. Closed shoes and long socks make a big difference.
Is it safe and suitable for families with kids?
Yes. All safety measures are in place, our naturalists lead every trail, and the routes are chosen to suit families with children.
How do I get there?
We're approximately 60 km from Goa airport (GOI) and Madgaon railway station. Self-drive is straightforward; we can also arrange airport/station pick-up at additional cost — just let us know when you book.
What's the cancellation policy?
30–16 days before check-in: 25% of the total billing amount is retained. 15–8 days before check-in: 50% retained. Within 7 days of check-in: 100% retained. Delays or cancellations caused by cancelled flights or other transport due to bad weather or natural causes attract the same charges. Nature's Nest reserves the right to revise or suspend any tariff or package at any time, with a refund of any advance received.
