At Nature’s Nest Goa, we don’t just talk about conservation; we walk the talk.
1. Conservation Hotspot
Our conservation hotspot spans 15 acres, transformed through 4 years of dedicated effort. Our impactful “Water for Wildlife” project has created drinking holes providing essential water sources for local wildlife. As a result, we now see a variety of wildlife, including leopards, gaurs, bears and other wildlife coming to quench their thirst.
2. Junior Naturalist Programme
This certificate program is designed for young adults, offering hands-on experience in conservation work. Participants gain valuable knowledge and skills that contribute to our ongoing projects.
These programs offer a comprehensive introduction to sustainable practices, birding, the flora and fauna of the Western Ghats, and forest trail experiences. Participants will interact with camera traps and learn about documentation techniques. Upon completion, you will receive a certification acknowledging your contributions to conservation.
We are building checkdams and water conservation structures in the surrounding areas to help conserve more water that will help both wildlife as well as the communities.
