A 12 seater passenger boat takes you for the safari in the River Zuari going further in the mangrove-lined Cumbharjua Canal. The journey through the mangrove lined canal is full of bird sightings, some of them pretty rare.

One can also spot the Marsh Crocodile fantastically adapted to brackish water.
Boat Safari for bird watching:The safari starts from Cortalim jetty at 7.45 am. The duration of the trip isabout Two and half hours. This is a guided safari. In addition to the collared kingfisher, five other species of Kingfishers are seen here.
You also see Greater Crested Terns, Gull Billed Terns, Peregrine Falcon, Eurasian Curlews,White-bellied Sea Eagle, Black-capped Kingfisher, Terek Sandpiper, Lesser Adjutant and several other species of waders.
One can also watch Marsh Crocodiles or Muggers in the canal.
